If you are looking for Tinamou Pottery, you have come to the right place. I have changed my name to better reflect my location. My studio is open by appointment only on Green Road in Stoughton, Wisconsin.
I continue to make dinnerware, but recently I am making small cups, pitchers, and tea pots. Visually, these small pots provide an interesting three dimensional canvas. The problem is that a small pot must have a strong form that belies its size to be successful. Forms that I have been creating for years don't translate directly to the small form. I strive the create pure forms that look natural at any size. This exploration of form has helped all my pots become visually stronger.
Take a look at the three bowls below. If you look closely, you will be able to tell which is the smallest and which is the largest, but their forms look good at any size.
